Meet Zach Mako
Zach Mako is one of us. He is a lifelong resident of the 183rd District. He grew up in Walnutport and graduated from Northampton Area High School. After graduating, Zach decided to serve his country. He enlisted in the Pennsylvania National Guard and learned to fly Chinook helicopters.
As a pilot, he was deployed to Afghanistan in December 2012 for nine months supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. While serving our country, Zach also earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Kutztown University and his master’s in business administration with a concentration in international affairs from Pennsylvania State University.
In 2019, Zach was again deployed for 10 months to Afghanistan to fight terrorism in Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. He continues to serve our country and state in the Pennsylvania National Guard.
Zach’s background and dedication to service make him uniquely qualified to represent the residents of the 183rd District.
As our State Representative Zach has stood up to the special interests in Harrisburg and has opposed Governors Wolf and Shapiro’s massive tax increases. He has been an ardent supporter of protecting our individual and constitutional rights and has advocated for property tax reform, job creation and infrastructure improvements.
Zach lives in Walnutport with his wife, Brittany.
